You're probably wondering why you would use this as a primer if you have heard it for the first time.
I've seen this used by xxSarahNicolexx and NikkieTutorials on YouTube.
The reason why you would use this or what xxSarahNicolexx and Nikkie Tutorials says so is because of the active ingredient glycerin. It is also called and known as glycerol or glycerine, glycerin.
Glycerin is present in all natural lipids which is fats, whether animal or vegetable. It can be derived by natural substances, with hydrolysis of fats and additionally, fermentation of sugars. It also can be synthetically manufactured.
Glycerin is found on the skin naturally because it's a skin repairing agent. It can help maintain the outer barrier and prevent dryness, but pure glycerin which has 100% concentration can dry skin badly. The reason why this would work overall is because it gets absorbed into skin and because it is a protective layer and layer on top it can be holding the foundation which is also the same consistency. It wouldn't work on every foundation but most foundations are water based like this one.
Make sure if you're using a silicon based primer or moisturiser as a primer to you a silicon based foundation for a better look because like mix well together and don't get patchy.
I live in Australia and this costs around $11.49.
Overall I rate it a 5/5! It's pretty good and you can get it on sale for cheaper and it's way more affordable then a lot of primers. You can also see other mosturiser ingredients and if it's in the top 3 or 5(glycerin) then you can also use that one as well.
